A strong communications strategy is central to a successfully adopted, implemented and sustained reform. And a strong communications effort is not dependent on a big budget and/or the ability to buy media. More important to the effort is leadership, organization, outreach to key players and consistency of message.

Central to Achieve's communications support is providing research-tested messages and talking points, fact sheets and other materials to help advocates make the case, communications planning tools to support statewide efforts to build awareness of and support for the college- and career-ready agenda.

Achieve also provides opportunities for advocates to collaborate and communicate with their peers across states to share materials and lessons learned.
