Yolonda Earl-Thompson joins Achieve after 7 years with the Smithsonian Institution were she served in various financial administrative and procurement positions. As the contracts coordinator for Achieve, Yolonda is primarily responsible for developing, managing and maintaining contracts and contract files. She also assists the Director of Finance, Operations, and Special Projects and the Accountant in various financial and operational capacities.

Yolonda is a native of Detroit, Michigan. After an honorable-medical discharge from the United States Marine Corps (USMC), she re-located to Washington, DC. She received her B.A. cum laude from Mount Vernon College (now The George Washington University Mount Vernon Campus). She currently lives in Maryland with her husband and son. An active member of her community, Yolonda serves as a mentor to many young people, oversees the dance ministry and sings on the praise and worship team at her church.
